Business Analyst

Title: Business Analyst Duration: 6 months contract with a possibility of extension Location: Remote Job description & Roles and responsibilities The candidate will be expected to participate in a regular status meetings to connect project threads, uncover potential risks/issues and track progress. Candidate should quickly become a Subject Matter Expert in the collaboration tool supported by the hiring team Troubleshoot product issues escalated by end users Understand business strategy and objectives by studying the business function, gathering information, and evaluating output requirements and formats. Elicits and documents requirements to meet business needs.

Possess understanding of business analysis professional standards, business processes, workflows, methodologies and leading practices. Direct and monitor business analysis activities to ensure the traceability and optimum coverage of business requirements with change request backlog. Manage the progress of projects by tracking activity, resolving issues, and recommending actions; Provides senior management and project management with regular updates on deliverable timeline and project status.

Respond proactively to both business and project issues and escalates appropriately. Post on knowledge sharing and team collaboration sites. Share best practices internally/externally Qualifications Excellent writing and editing skills, with confident presentation skills.

Strong project management, time management, and organizational skills. SharePoint experience is a plus. Energetic, enthusiastic, flexible, persuasive and proactive attitude with strong influencing skills.

Demonstrated experience working with cross-cultural teams; strong appreciation for cultural differences and ability to adapt approaches as required. Ability to work and maintain composure in a fast-paced, high-volume, and often deadline driven environment, with a practical and pragmatic approach to delivery. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Ability to navigate and operate effectively in a high-matrixed and complex organization. A bachelors degree is Arts or science on related field or equivalent experience is required. Advanced degree and relevant professional services training and development preferred Non-negotiable Qualifications: Minimum 3 years of business analysis experience working in a fast-paced or large global environment.

Strong communications skill and executive presence. Strong research and analytical skills; confidence in providing insights and recommendations. Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly in PowerPoint and excel with the ability to create high quality and impactful deliverables Understand business challenges in order to drive change and innovation to improve the client experience.
