Job Description
Business Analyst – Core Banking / Payments | 6+ Years of Experience
Location: Scarborough, ON – Hybrid (3 days onsite per week)
Type: Contract
We’re looking for an experienced Business Analyst with 6+ years of experience, including strong exposure to Core Banking and/or Payments.
Key Skills & Experience:
- 6+ years of experience as a Business Analyst
- 2 years of experience within Financial Services, particularly Core Banking or Payments
- Strong expertise in requirements analysis, documentation & system integration
- Experience documenting both business and technical requirements/specifications
- Hands-on experience with Jira & Confluence
- Understanding of accounting flows, transaction lifecycle & reporting/data requirements
- Experience with data mapping and data lineage across upstream and downstream systems
- Ability to translate requirements into clear, structured artifacts for development and implementation teams
- Experience managing requirements, user stories & tasks
- Experience supporting SIT & UAT, including test scenarios, requirement clarification and defect triage
- Ability to manage and align multiple business & technology stakeholders
- Strong analytical, communication & problem-solving skills
