Job Description
Coast Mountain Bus Company (CMBC) is a leading transit operator in Metro Vancouver, managing a diverse fleet of buses and ferries. This role focuses on facilitating and optimizing technology service delivery between CMBC business units and TransLinkās Business Technology Services. Responsibilities Facilitates and optimizes technology service delivery between CMBC business units and TransLinkās Business Technology Services.
Serves as the operational point of contact for intake, triage, prioritization, escalations, and stakeholder communications at CMBC. Aligns CMBC business requirements with technology products and services currently provided by Business Technology Services (BTS), and identifies requests that represent new, unique or emerging needs not met by existing internal solutions. Proactively recommends improvements, efficiencies, and technologyāenabled solutions tailored to departmental needs.
Collaborates with stakeholders to understand business objectives, assesses how technology can support desired outcomes, defines business requirements, and evaluates value, impact, risks, and required investment. Prepares CMBCāspecific business case information demonstrating alignment with strategic objectives, documents requirements and findings, and recommends viable business solutions. Translates technical concepts into clear, businessāfocused language for stakeholders with varying levels of technical understanding.
Leads and supports CMBC initiatives and projects that use existing enterprise technologies such as Microsoft Power Platform, providing process and planning expertise to business leaders. Prepares and delivers professional presentations, business reports, and training materials to ensure successful adoption of technology solutions by business stakeholders and their teams. Qualifications Minimum education: Bachelorās degree in Business Administration or Computer Science.
Six (6) years of information technology and business analysis experience in a complex enterprise environment, managing multiāstakeholder projects. Advanced communication skills, both written and oral. Strong analytical and technical skills with the ability to advise and guide business leaders.
Excellent facilitation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills suited to a multiāstakeholder environment. Inādepth knowledge of current technology in the marketplace, solid working knowledge of enterprise systems and solutions, and sound knowledge of the Microsoft Power Platform. Benefits Work schedule: 37.5 hours per week.
Hybrid work arrangement (onāsite and remote within B.C.). Compensation: Salary range $84,480 ā $126,720 per annum, based on education, experience, skills, and qualifications. Total compensation includes Extended Health, Dental, Transit Pass, and enrollment in the Public Service Pension Plan.
