A local apartment complex is seeking a Building Maintenance Technician who will conduct the day-to-day high rise condominium maintenance and upkeep.  Work hours are Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; plus rotating on call 24/7.

Job Duties:

• HVAC System Maintenance, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing upkeep and repair
• Repair leaks, make carpentry, drywall, and painting repairs
• Complete work orders efficiently and courteously
• Maintain pool maintenance
• Perform all general and preventative maintenance duties 

Job Qualifications:

• Must have at least 2 years verifiable building maintenance experience with exposure to Residential High Rise or Large Hotel/Resort Type properties or similar environment 
• Must have hands on knowledge of HVAC, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and general maintenance 
• Any certifications or licenses in Plumbing, Electrical, HVAC, etc. are a plus
• Knowledge of cooling towers, boilers, pump rooms, domestic pumps, all mechanical and life safety equipment are a strong plus
• Must have good hospitality, politeness, and customer service skills while being able to read, write, and communicate in English
• Must have the ability to work in a very fast-paced environment and prioritize work orders
• Must be detail-oriented, safety-conscious, a team player
• Must have a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and a solid work history with no attendance issues
• Must be able to work flexible hours and be on call as needed

Only candidates that can pass a background check and drug screen will be considered. There is the possibility of permanent hire for the right person and will be "on-call" rotation after hours between the staff.
