Our client is seeking a driven, entrepreneurial Branch Manager who can sell, lead, and deliver exceptional customer service. This would be a player/coach type of person. Essential Duties and Responsibilities : Develop operational, budgeting, and forecasting plans for the branch. Identify specific industries or transportation modes for the branch to target. Balance investments between business development and operations to maximize growth.

Foster a strong sales culture across all branch positions. Create and review detailed financial plans, including profit and loss statements, ensuring adherence to EBITDA goals. Collaborate with other internal operating units to develop joint customer growth strategies.

Deliver cost-effective solutions with the long-term interests of customers in mind. Cultivate a high-performance team environment that encourages innovation, productivity, and low turnover. Set and monitor team performance to achieve annual goals and objectives.

Provide effective leadership and motivation to direct reports, ensuring team success. Conduct regular leadership meetings and 1:1 sessions for leadership development and communication. Ensure timely and effective annual performance reviews for all team members.

Evaluate team member performance in line with organizational policies and goals. Build high-functioning teams by emphasizing service, morale, teamwork, and a positive culture. Ensure compliance with our client's operating procedures and protocols.

Qualifications/Skills & Abilities : A 4-year college degree in a relevant field or equivalent industry experience. Preferred experience in transportation, supply chain, or related fields. Strong business development, personal training, sales knowledge, and highway service experience.

Proven track record of business acumen and improving financial results. Experience managing a profit center is preferred. Proficiency in organizational, communication, conflict resolution, and project management skills.

Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, 10 Key, and Data Entry. Ability to interpret various instructions in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Capable of delivering effective presentations and written reports to customers, team members, and managers.

Ability to work independently and make decisions with limited supervision. Strong problem-solving skills, particularly in situations with limited standardization. Preferred experience with Registry Monitoring Insurance Services (RMIS) and Transportation Management Systems (TMS).

Proven ability to develop, supervise, and motivate high-performing teams.
