Branch Manager Swift Cargo Pvt Ltd., Swift Cargo is a leading International Logistics Company in ocean and air forwarding. We’ve been in this space for over 34 years now with a turnover of about 2500 crores presently. We are present in 5 countries (India, USA, Dubai, Canada, & Thailand) with 20 office & 600+ FTEs.
We are leaders in the US- India Trade lane. Job Summary: The candidate for this position will have experience acquiring and handling Chandigarh based, mid-size as well as high volume customers - be they consignees or shippers. He/she should have experience in leading a team of goal-oriented executives.
The position reports to the Executive Director in charge of North Region operations of Swift Cargo. Core Responsibilities A Branch Manager oversees daily operations, staff performance, and financial goals for a specific location, primarily focusing on driving sales, ensuring high-quality customer service, and enforcing company policies. Maintain and grow a self-driven book of business.
Help team successfully get business from new and existing customer accounts. Explore business opportunities and generate sales leads from shippers, forwarders & CHAs effectively. Manage complex negotiations with senior-level executives.
Co-ordinate with Customer Service desk, Operations and Documentation department for complete follow-up on shipments generated. Help the team build rapport and establish long term relationships with customers Analyse market trends and implement effective measures for penetrating business. Facilitate prompt preparation & submission of quotation/RFQ to customers.
Ensure submission of sales/division reports to reporting head at regular intervals. Facilitate timely follow-up on collections from customers. Conduct regular review meetings with the team and enhance performance.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification 5–10 years of proven experience in freight forwarding sales Hands-on experience and strong working knowledge of CRM systems Demonstrated track record of consistently exceeding sales targets Apply resume to [email protected]
