Role Branch Manager Industry Builders Merchants / Construction Supplies / Timber Region Cardiff Area Salary £40,000 – £44,000 (DOE) plus bonus and car allowance. An opportunity to run a great branch at a well-respected business with a recently renovated site and a 'Job for Life' environment. Responsibilities Lead and inspire the sales team and oversee day‑to‑day operations.

Maximise sales and overall profitability of the branch. Maintain and grow existing business relationships while building a pipeline of new customers. Use market intelligence to analyse stock profiles and sales trends to anticipate future directions.

Manage departmental managers beneath you, ensuring effective coordination across the branch. Demonstrate strong sales, negotiation and stock control expertise. Qualifications Current Branch Manager in the merchant sector with a proven track record of growing and sustaining a profitable operation.

Experienced in sales, negotiation and stock control within Builders Merchants or Construction Supply world. Strong leadership skills, able to motivate and inspire a team. Ambition for career development and ability to build and develop own team in future.
