About the Opportunity
This is an exciting permanent opportunity to lead a branch within an established Canadian financial services organization focused on responsible and accessible lending solutions. As Branch Manager, youll have ownership of branch performance while creating an environment where customers feel supported and employees are empowered to succeed.
Reporting to the District Manager, youll work closely with your team to grow the business, strengthen customer relationships and build a highly engaged workplace. Your leadership will directly influence profitability, employee development, customer experience and the organizations presence within the Yellowknife community.

Your Responsibilities
- Youll lead overall branch performance, optimizing profitability while identifying opportunities for sustainable business growth.
- Youll develop new business and support customer acquisition across multiple channels while creating a welcoming, high-quality customer experience.
- Youll coach, develop and hold team members accountable for operational, development and customer experience goals.
- Youll build employee engagement, support talent retention and create meaningful individual development plans.
- Youll lead change initiatives, ensuring your team has the information and support needed to adapt successfully.
- Youll ensure branch activities comply with governing regulations, internal policies and confidentiality requirements.
- Youll represent the organization within the Yellowknife community and help build a positive local presence.
Skills and Qualifications
- 35 years of directly related financial services sales experience, preferably within consumer finance, or 35 years of previous management experience.
- College diploma preferred, with a bachelors degree or coursework in business considered an asset.
- Strong leadership and coaching skills with the ability to motivate, develop and engage a team.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer relationship-building skills.
- Strong verbal, written and listening skills, with confidence communicating across all levels.
- Proactive, self-starting approach with sound initiative and accountability.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work flexible hours in a fast-paced environment.
