Bookkeeper & Payroll Manager (Practice), Leicester A well-established independent accountancy practice in Leicester is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper and Payroll Manager to join its growing team. Benefits Competitive salary of ยฃ32,000 to ยฃ36,000 Flexible working options (full-time or part-time) Supportive, independent practice environment Varied client portfolio across multiple sectors Strong team culture with a client-focused approach Key Responsibilities Managing and maintaining accurate financial records for a portfolio of clients Processing invoices, receipts, and payments Managing accounts payable and receivable Performing bank reconciliations and ensuring records are up to date Preparing and submitting VAT returns Supporting the accounts team with financial reporting Communicating directly with clients regarding financial information Payroll Duties Running end-to-end payroll (weekly, fortnightly, four-weekly, and monthly) Managing a portfolio of payroll clients Administering pension schemes across multiple providers Ensuring compliance with payroll legislation and deadlines Qualifications At least 5 years of experience within practice Strong knowledge of bookkeeping principles and processes Experience using software such as Xero, QuickBooks, or similar Ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines High attention to detail and accuracy Strong communication skills and client-focused mindset If you are looking for a Bookkeeper and Payroll Manager position in Leicester within a supportive and growing accountancy practice, this is an excellent opportunity to develop your career #J-18808-Ljbffr
