Bilingual Social Worker (MSW)

The purpose of our program is to provide culturally relevant, community-based services to children and families that preserve the family, prepare foster youth for successful emancipation, provide treatment, foster care, and strengthen the community through services.

We are hiring an Agency Social Worker to provide comprehensive case management for certified resource families and children in placement. In this role, you will be the bridge of support between children, resource parents, schools, and external agencies- ensuring that every child receives essential, trauma-informed care in a safe, stable, and supportive environment.

*Key Responsibilities*

* Assess the needs of children and families involved in the foster care system. * Develop and implement individualized service plans to address specific needs. * Provide crisis intervention and management support during critical situations. * Conduct regular home visits to monitor the welfare of children in placement. * Collaborate with other professionals, including educators and healthcare providers, to ensure comprehensive support. * Support resource parents with ongoing training, resources, and home compliance. * Maintain accurate documentation of case notes, progress reports, and service plans and ensure regulatory compliance with Department of Children and Family Services and Community Care Licensing.

*Requirements*

* Master's degree in Social Work, Social Welfare, Child Psychology, or related field. * Current licensure as a social worker in the state of practice. * Strong knowledge of child welfare laws and regulations and trauma-informed care is preferred. * Excellent crisis management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure. * Experience working with children and families in social services is a plus. * Effective communication skills for working with diverse populations. * Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and willingness to travel locally.
