We are seeking an experienced, energetic, and hospitality-driven Part-Time Bartender to join our team at The Bankers Club at 120 Broadway! This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys creating memorable guest experiences through exceptional service, expertly crafted beverages, and genuine hospitality. The ideal candidate has strong knowledge of cocktails, wine, and spirits, takes pride in presentation and attention to detail, and brings a polished, team-first approach to every shift.

Key Responsibilities

Beverage Preparation & Bar Service

  • Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and service standards.
  • Mix, garnish, and present cocktails with consistency, accuracy, and attention to detail.
  • Maintain strong knowledge of cocktails, wine, spirits, beer, and beverage offerings.
  • Monitor guest consumption and serve alcoholic beverages responsibly.

Guest Experience & Hospitality

  • Provide warm, professional, and attentive service to all guests.
  • Anticipate guest needs and create a welcoming and polished experience.
  • Respond to guest requests promptly and professionally.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth, efficient service and an exceptional guest experience.

Bar Setup & Operations

  • Set up, stock, maintain, and break down the bar before and after service.
  • Ensure glassware, beverages, garnishes, supplies, and bar equipment are fully stocked and organized.
  • Accurately enter orders and process payments using the POS system.
  • Assist with receiving, organizing, and properly storing beverage inventory and supplies.
  • Monitor inventory levels and communicate restocking needs to management.

Cleanliness, Safety & Compliance

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary bar and guest service area throughout the shift.
  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, alcohol service, and workplace safety standards.
  • Safely handle glassware, bar tools, beverage products, and equipment.
  • Perform additional duties and support service needs based on business operations.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of professional bartending experience in a polished, hospitality-focused environment, with a strong commitment to creating a welcoming and engaging guest experience.
  • Strong knowledge of wine, spirits, classic cocktails, and beverage preparation.
  • Professional demeanor with a warm and welcoming personality.
  • Strong hospitality mindset with the ability to anticipate guest needs and deliver excellent service.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong work ethic with excellent organization and attention to detail.
  • Dependable, punctual, and able to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Experience using restaurant POS systems.
  • Ability to lift and carry at least 30 pounds, including beverage cases, supplies, and bar equipment.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, up to 8 hours per shift, and regularly bend, reach, push, and pull as required.
  • Ability to safely handle glassware, bar tools, and beverage equipment.
  • TIPS certification preferred.
  • Ability to work a flexible part-time schedule based on business needs, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Schedule: Part-time, On-site

Pay rate:  $27.00–$30.00/hour + tips

Benefits: Paid and unpaid safe and sick hours

Must be able to provide valid documentation that you are legally eligible to work in the United States.
