Overview Perioperative Practitioner - Recovery | Bank | Spire Cardiff | Excellent Benefits | Free on site Parking Are you an experienced Recovery Practitioner looking to work flexibly while making a real difference in patient care? Spire Cardiff Hospital is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Perioperative Practitioner to join our dynamic theatre team on a bank basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a leading independent healthcare provider, where you'll play a key role in supporting patients through their post-operative recovery journey.

Working in a fast-paced, supportive environment, you'll be surrounded by a multidisciplinary team committed to delivering clinical excellence. Responsibilities Supporting in assessing patient's health and well-being across a complex and changing caseload Assist in the delivery of care to meet the patient's needs in an extremely busy department Prepping the recovery bays and looking after patients after their surgery Provide and receive complex, sensitive or contentious information Promoting best practice and contributing towards quality improvements Who we're looking for Be NMC/HCPC registered - your pin should not have any restrictions or conditions Have a minimum of 2 years recovery experience Have been employed in a surgical/Theatre setting You will be an enthusiastic, dedicated team player and also used to working with minimum supervision ALS and Airway Maintenance certifications would be desirable, though not essential - Training opportunities are available Working hours Flexible - No Nights Contract type Bank Benefits Bank colleagues are paid weekly Access to Spire Healthcare pension Access to Blue Light Card discounts Smart spending discounts via 'Spire for You' Wellbeing Centre access via 'Spire for You' Free uniform Free DBS Full induction, including mandatory training updates Free On Site Parking Additional information We offer competitive rates to our bank colleagues who work on a flexible basis, often to cover busy periods, sickness or annual leave.
