Backend Software Engineer

Looking for W2 only - GC/USC only - no Third party vendors

LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY

Duration - 12-24 months - long term contract

Location - 2 days hybrid in Fitchburg, WI

Rate - 55-65/hour W2

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with C#/.NET
• Deep expertise in designing and building scalable REST APIs
• Strong experience in API integration across enterprise systems (SQL Server, third-party services)
• Proven track record in performance tuning, reliability, and secure API design
• Solid experience with automated testing (unit, integration, API)
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps practices
• Experience working in Azure cloud environments
• Exposure to AI-assisted development tools is a plus
