Backend Developer (Serverless Technologies)

Job Title: Backend Developer (Serverless Technologies) Experience: 3–4 Years Location: Remote Employment Type: Full-Time About the Role We’re looking for an experienced Backend Developer with deep expertise in serverless architecture to help design, develop, and scale our cloud-based backend systems. The ideal candidate should be strong in AWS serverless services, Node.js, event-driven design, and modern API development. Key Responsibilities Design and develop scalable serverless applications using AWS Lambda, API Gateway, and related AWS services.

Build and maintain RESTful APIs for mobile and web platforms. Integrate and manage third-party APIs and services (e.g., Stripe, GetStream, ZeptoMail, Elastic Search). Ensure asynchronous workflows with SQS, and DLQs for reliability.

Implementing the firebase authentication and notification service. Write clean, testable, and maintainable code with CI/CD integration. Monitor and troubleshoot production systems via CloudWatch or similar observability tools.

Required Skills & Qualifications 3–4 years of professional backend development experience. Strong proficiency in Node.js Hands-on experience with key AWS services: Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB (Serverless), S3, SQS (with DLQ), Step Functions Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, CodePipeline, etc.). Understanding of security best practices and API performance optimisation.

Preferred Qualifications Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code (CloudFormation). Experience with Elasticsearch, Stripe Payments, GetStream APIs, and ZeptoMail*. Experience in JavaScript.
