Job Description
Our client is seeking a Back‑End Engineer to develop and maintain scalable services for a global commerce platform. The role emphasizes Java, Spring Boot, and RESTful APIs to enable secure and reliable e‑commerce workflows. You will integrate with Shopify and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver end‑to‑end solutions.
Your work will support performance, security, and interoperability across services. Rate: $70.00 to $80.00/hr. w2 Responsibilities Design and implement backend services using Java and Spring Boot. Develop APIs and microservices for e‑commerce workflows.
Ensure security, reliability, and performance of backend systems. Collaborate with front‑end developers and QA teams for end‑to‑end delivery. Experience Requirements Strong experience in Java, Spring Boot, and RESTful API development.
Knowledge of relational databases such as Oracle and SQL. Familiarity with cloud environments and CI/CD pipelines. E-commerce systems including payment gateways and invoicing (preferred).
