Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Java Developer with strong Apache Kafka expertise to design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance applications and distributed systems. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in Java, Spring Boot, microservices, Kafka, REST APIs, and enterprise application development.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Develop scalable and resilient microservices-based applications.
• Design and implement event-driven solutions using Apache Kafka.
• Develop Kafka producers and consumers and manage topics, partitions, offsets, and consumer groups.
• Implement RESTful APIs and integrate applications with internal and external systems.
• Work on application performance optimization, troubleshooting, and production support.
• Implement error handling, logging, monitoring, and exception management.
• Collaborate with architects, business analysts, QA teams, and other developers to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding and design standards.
• Analyze technical requirements and provide effective solutions.
• Troubleshoot complex application and integration issues in development and production environments.

Mandatory Technical Skills

• Strong hands-on experience in Core Java / Java 8+.
• Strong experience with Spring Boot and Spring Framework.
• Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka.
• Good understanding of Kafka Producers, Consumers, Topics, Partitions, Consumer Groups, and Offsets.
• Strong experience in Microservices Architecture.
• Experience developing and integrating REST APIs.
• Good knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
• Experience with Git and CI/CD practices.
• Good understanding of application security, performance, and scalability.

Good to Have

• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of Cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience with messaging technologies apart from Kafka.
• Knowledge of distributed systems and event-driven architecture.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Exposure to monitoring tools and application performance management.
