Back End Developer

Backend Tech Lead_Java Years of experience: 9 -10 Years Location:Kochi Budget: Below 25 LPA Qualification: Btech/PG mandatory Role Summary Serve as the Backend Tech Lead responsible for architectural direction, technical strategy, and delivery of backend services. Lead backend modernization initiatives across a microservices ecosystem, including authentication transformation and cloud-native migrations. Own end-to-end delivery of backend initiatives, driving them independently from design to production rollout.

Key Responsibilities Define and drive backend modernization roadmap (Java, Spring Boot, Jakarta EE). Architect and implement scalable, secure microservices systems. Lead authentication initiatives (CIAM/IAM, JWT/OIDC, SSO integrations).

Drive migration from legacy systems to modern cloud-based solutions. Ensure clean, maintainable code by removing outdated patterns and adopting modern practices. Own end-to-end delivery (design to production), working independently to drive decisions, unblock issues, and lead critical implementation and migration efforts.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams (frontend, platform, security) to ensure smooth integration. Must-Have Skills & Experience 8+ years of Java backend development with strong architectural experience. Deep expertise in Spring Boot, Spring Framework, and Spring Security.

Strong understanding of authentication systems (JWT, OAuth2/OIDC, SSO, CIAM/IAM). Experience working with microservices and distributed systems. Experience with AWS cloud services, including messaging and caching solutions (e.g., SNS, SQS, ElastiCache/Redis or similar).

Working knowledge of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes). Strong problem-solving, system design, and debugging skills. Proven ability to independently own and deliver complex backend initiatives end-to-end.

Nice to Have Experience with Java version upgrades (LTS versions) and handling ecosystem changes (Spring Boot, Jakarta EE, dependencies). Experience in backend platform modernization or legacy system transformation. Qualifications Strong communication and collaboration skills across engineering teams.
