Back End Developer

Overview We are hiring a Senior Node.js Developer in Halifax to support the end-to-end CLM Transformation Program, focused on back-end integrations, messaging, and data infrastructure. Target start date: April 1, 2026. Responsibilities Design and develop back-end integrations for CLM platforms using Node.js Build and maintain messaging infrastructure using Solace and Kafka Implement and optimize Redis caching, ElasticSearch, and database layers (MongoDB, MS SQL) Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver against program milestones Leverage AI-assisted development tools (GitHub Copilot and similar) in daily workflows Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and continuous improvement Requirements 5+ years of software development experience with strong Node.js proficiency Experience with messaging systems (Solace, Kafka, or similar) Hands‑on experience with Redis, ElasticSearch, and NoSQL databases (MongoDB) Working knowledge of MS SQL Familiarity with client onboarding, KYC/AML, or CLM workflows in financial services is preferred Experience with cloud platforms, containerization, and CI/CD pipelines #J-18808-Ljbffr
