Founding Backend Engineer (High Ownership Role) Location: On-site — Delhi NCR Timeline: Immediate start | Intensive 4–6 week build phase About the Role We are building a high-impact, real-world operations platform that involves structured data flows, real-time updates, and strict reliability requirements. We are looking for a backend engineer who can take end-to-end ownership of system design and implementation under tight timelines. This is not a typical feature-based role — you will be responsible for building the core system architecture from scratch .

What You’ll Do Design and build a scalable backend architecture Develop APIs for real-time data handling Implement workflow logic and state transitions Build secure authentication and role-based systems Handle structured + unstructured data (including location-based data) Implement logging, monitoring, and error handling Ensure data integrity, performance, and security Must-Have Strong backend experience (Node.js / Python or similar) Solid understanding of system design Experience building production-grade APIs Good knowledge of databases (SQL/NoSQL) Ability to work in fast-paced, ambiguous environments Strong Plus Experience with real-time systems Experience handling location/geospatial data Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP) Security-first mindset What We’re Looking For Someone who thinks in systems, not just endpoints Can work long, focused hours during the build phase Takes ownership without hand-holding Comfortable making technical decisions early Compensation Competitive salary (based on experience) Equity (1%–2.5%) only for highly experienced candidates with an ownership mindset
