Job Description
Key Responsibilities Collaborate with stakeholders across Credit Risk, Lending, Compliance, and Finance to gather and analyze business requirements. Lead solution feasibility analysis, effort estimation , and ensure end-to-end requirement coverage. Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in the risk domain, identifying and resolving functional gaps.
Translate business and regulatory requirements into Avaloq system specifications and prepare Functional Requirement Specifications (FRS) . Develop use cases, data mappings , and functional designs for credit and risk enhancements. Conduct gap analysis between business needs and Avaloq model bank capabilities.
Lead workshops, UAT planning , and coordinate business sign-offs. Drive project execution across Build, Test, and Go-Live phases . Present solutions to stakeholders for review and approval.
Perform Avaloq development and code changes based on business requirements. Support testing phases, bug fixing, and production issue resolution . Participate in regional and global project implementations and go-live support.
Required Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or Banking . 10 years of overall IT experience. 7 years of hands-on experience in Avaloq core banking platform . Avaloq certification is mandatory. Required Skills & Experience Strong understanding of credit and lending processes (mortgages, credit limits, collateral, interest calculations).
Experience in Wealth Management domain within banking. Deep knowledge of banking products, workflows, and lifecycle management . Experience in medium to large-scale Avaloq implementations .
Familiarity with Avaloq development lifecycle, release, and change management . Understanding of banking operations, regulatory frameworks, and credit risk . Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills .
Ability to work independently , manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines. Experience in client output, cost, and fee modules (preferred).
