Role Description
This full-time Automotive Technician role is an on-site position based in Barrie, ON. The Automotive Technician will perform routine vehicle maintenance, including inspections, oil changes, fluid services, and tire-related work. The role includes diagnosing and repairing mechanical issues, completing suspension and brake work, and addressing general maintenance and repair needs for a variety of vehicles.
The technician will use diagnostic tools and shop equipment, follow safety and quality standards, and document services accurately. Day-to-day responsibilities also involve communicating clearly with service advisors and team members to ensure efficient workflow and a positive customer experience.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Vehicle Maintenance and Maintenance & Repair for a range of makes and models.
- Licensed 310S automotice Technician certificstion required.
- Proficiency in Automotive Repair, including diagnostics and mechanical troubleshooting.
- Practical knowledge of Suspension systems and related components.
- Ability to work safely with shop tools and equipment and follow established procedures.
- Effective communication skills and a customer-focused, team-oriented approach.
- Strong attention to detail, reliability, and willingness to stay current with automotive technology.
