Automotive Detailing Technician

La Carrosserie de Boucherville is known for the quality of its repairs and its excellent customer service. We are looking for a dynamic, reliable, and detail-oriented person to join our team as an auto detailing technician. You will play a direct role in ensuring our customers receive a clean, immaculate vehicle that is ready for delivery.

Main Responsibilities

• Perform a thorough cleaning of the interior and exterior of vehicles after bodywork and paint jobs.
• Wash, dry, and wipe down vehicles using the appropriate techniques and products.
• Vacuum carpets, seats, and storage compartments; clean windows, plastic trim, dashboards, and other interior surfaces.
• Perform finishing work, including cleaning up polishing residue, paint residue, and handling marks.
• Prepare vehicles for delivery in accordance with the company’s quality standards.
• Inspect the overall condition of vehicles and report any anomalies or imperfections before handing them over to the customer.
• Move vehicles safely within the workshop, yard, and parking areas.
• Keep work areas, equipment, and tools clean, safe, and well-organized.
• Use cleaning products and equipment in accordance with health and safety standards.
• Collaborate with the body shop, paint shop, mechanical, and customer service departments to ensure the respectDelivery deadlines.
• Help maintain a professional, quality-focused work environment.

Desired Qualifications

• Experience in auto detailing, car washing, or a similar role (a plus).
• Excellent attention to detail and a strong eye for detail.
• Organizational skills and the ability to multitask.
• Team player with a positive attitude and professionalism.
• Good physical condition and the ability to work on your feet and operate cleaning equipment.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Punctuality, reliability, and independence.
• Valid driver’s license (Class 5) required.
