Automation Test Engineer – Python & Robot Framework

Job Description We are looking for an experienced Automation Test Engineer with strong expertise in Python and Robot Framework to join our Quality Engineering team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in automation testing, strong knowledge of QA processes, and the ability to work collaboratively across development and business teams to deliver high-quality applications. Key Responsibilities Develop, enhance, and maintain automation test scripts using Python and Robot Framework Execute automated and manual test cases across various testing phases Identify, log, track, and support resolution of defects throughout the software development lifecycle Collaborate with developers, QA teams, and business stakeholders to understand functional and technical requirements Ensure adequate test coverage for functional, regression, and integration testing Participate in test planning, test case creation, and automation strategy discussions Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and automation frameworks Required Skills & Qualifications 5–6 years of hands-on experience in Automation Testing Strong programming experience with Python Hands-on expertise with Robot Framework Solid understanding of software testing methodologies, QA processes, and testing lifecycle Experience with test case design, execution, and defect management tools Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automation integration processes Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills Nice to Have Experience with API testing Exposure to Selenium or other automation tools/frameworks Banking or Capital Markets domain experience
