Position: Audiobook QA Expert — English (US)
Type: Contract
Compensation: $20–$25/hour
Location: Remote
Commitment: 20 hours/week

Role Responsibilities

• Evaluate AI-narrated audiobooks in English for naturalness, accuracy, and enjoyment.
• Identify and log errors in synthesized speech, including skipped, added, or mispronounced words.
• Categorize issues and mark the exact span using our review tooling.
• Report on listener satisfaction and highlight where narration feels natural or breaks the experience.
• Work consistently across many hours of audio, maintaining attention to detail.

Qualifications

Must-Have

• Native or near-native fluency in English (US / North American English).
• Experience as an active audiobook listener with opinions on quality.
• Working English proficiency for clear reporting and team communication.
• Experience in annotation, labeling, transcription, proofreading, or linguistics.
• Availability for 20 hours/week on a part-time basis.

Preferred

• Experience in AI training-data, model-evaluation, or audio/QA annotation projects.
• Background in language, editing, voice, or audio production.
