Job Summary:
The Assistant Manager MEP will be responsible for quantity surveying activities across multiple projects, ensuring cost efficiency and contract compliance. This role involvesvalidate and certify contractor RA bills, final bills, and quantity measurements. The Assistant Manager MEP will work closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to validate actual measurement at site with high standards of accuracy and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interim Valuations: Review the main contractor's monthly payment applications and certify payments based on actual verified site progress.
  • Variation Assessment: Support to evaluate, negotiate, and approve or reject changes, ensuring variations match the agreed commercial market rates
  • Cost Reporting: Support to prepare the monthly cost report
  • Final Account Settlement: Support to final commercial closure of the main construction contract to close the project accounts
  • Software Utilization:Use software tools (e.g., Cost X, AutoCAD) effectively for BOQ validation, quantity take-off and summarize quantities.
  • Maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and regulatory authorities.
  • Provide regular updates to senior management on project costs, financial status, and potential risks.
  • Ensure effective communication and collaboration between all project stakeholders.
  • Ensure all quantity surveying activities comply with relevant regulations, standards, and best practices.
  • Follow quality assurance processes to maintain high standards in cost estimation, contract management, and financial reporting.
