The Rector announces a competition for the position ofAssistant Professor in the Department of Combat Sports, Uniformed Services and Civil Defence Department

Requirements

Research Field Educational sciences » Other Education Level PhD or equivalent

• A PhD in Security Studies;
• Very good command of Polish;
• At least 2 years' professional experience as an academic lecturer;
• Judo coaching qualifications - at least 2nd class;
• Qualification as a Police Intervention Techniques Instructor;
• Certificates attesting to additional qualifications;
• Proficiency in the computer programmes required for academic work.
• Documents must be submitted in Polish only.

Languages POLISH Level Excellent

The deadline for submitting applications is 4 September 2026.

The competition is expected to be decided on 16 September 2026. The university plans to hire the successful candidate as a full-time faculty member, at the primary place of employment, under an employment contract. Expected start date: October 1, 2026.

The University reserves the right to cancel the competition for valid reasons, without providing a justification (University Statutes, Article 85, Section 4, Subparagraph e).
