We seek an exceptional educator and scholar dedicated to high quality teaching, student mentorship, and scholarly engagement. The successful candidate will support the growth and innovation of our graduate curriculum while contributing to the academic mission of the college and university.
RESPONSIBILITIES: • Teach graduate-level courses in College of Education master's programs (e.g., Secondary Methods, Action Research, Curriculum Development). • Advise and mentor graduate students, including supervising research, projects, or theses. • Engage in scholarly activity aligning with and appropriate for the position (research, publications, and professional presentations). • Participate in curriculum development and program assessment. • Provide service to the college, university, and professional community. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. • Demonstrated ability to contribute to scholarship or professional practice within the discipline. QUALIFICATIONS: Required Qualifications: • Earned doctorate (Ph.D. or Ed.D.) in Curriculum and Instruction or a closely related area. ABD may be considered. • Minimum of 3 years successful K-12 teaching experience.
Preferred Qualifications: • Experience with online or hybrid instruction • Secondary education teaching experience. • Experience teaching in higher education. • Demonstrated success in student mentorship or supervision. • A record of scholarly activity, publications, or funded research.
