Assistant Professor, Data Analytics

The School of Business at Augustana University invites applications for a tenure-track or non-tenure track Assistant Professor of Data Analytics or Computer Information Systems beginning Fall 2026. Major Areas of Responsibility: • Support the School of Business' course offerings in Data Analytics and Computer Information Systems at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. • Contribute to student success through advising and mentoring • Engage in service to the department, university, and community • Outreach with local and regional businesses Required Qualifications: • The successful candidate will have a terminal degree in computer information systems, data analytics, business analytics, or a related field. • Candidates with professional experience and a Masters degree will also be considered. • Demonstrated experience teaching in Data Analytics at the university level. • Professional or teaching experience in Data Analytics is highly desired. • Demonstrated record of scholarly activity and research is preferred. Interacting with students, faculty and leadership with different backgrounds and points of view and a deep appreciation of and respect for academic values and culture must be a top value of the candidate.
