Assistant Manager

As part of the Subway® Team, you as an Assistant Manager will focus on seven main things: Providing an excellent Guest experience Ensuring that great food is prepared & served Keeping our restaurants functional, clean and beautiful Controlling inventory Scheduling and supervising staff Maintaining standards of restaurant safety and security Being a team player In addition to the role of a Shift Manager, key parts of your day to day will consist of: Managing a staff of 4-12 including assigning and evaluating work Assisting in the planning of special events and promotions in restaurant, coordinating any training needed to make events successful Assisting with product ordering and inventory as needed As a Subway® Team Member, you'll have access to: Brand partnership discounts Scholarship Opportunities Opportunity to earn University course credits Hands on career experience in a restaurant business PREREQUISITES Education : High school diploma or equivalent Experience : Experience in a restaurant operation, preferably with supervisory experience. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Must be an excellent communicator with the ability to deal with all levels of team members. Computer knowledge is desirable.

Physical : Ability to work any area of the restaurant as needed and to operate computerized Point of Sale system/cash register. This position requires bending, standing and walking the entire workday.
