JOB DESCRIPTION:
\nManitou Equipment India in Greater Noida, UP, India will have an opening for (Position Name – Deputy
\nManager - Fabrication / Casting & Forging, Machining). The prime responsibility of this position is :
\nSpecific responsibilities: Fabrication / Casting & Forging, Machining
\n Define & Execute Regional Commodity Strategy: Formulate and Execute long-term vision for
\ncommodities assigned through annual & quarterly plans, Drive cost competitiveness and value
\ncreation, mitigate risks and enhance CSR objectives and compliance.
\n Protect the profit and margin: Deliver cost reductions for products in serial life of the assigned
\ncommodity. Deliver year-on-year cost efficiencies (cost savings and cost avoidance), focusing on the
\nTotal Cost of Ownership (TCO) rather than just the initial price.
\n Supplier Identification: Identify potential suppliers through market research, industry
\nanalysis, supplier databases, and trade shows. Evaluate their capabilities, reliability, and
\nsuitability for the company's requirements.
\n Supplier Base Management: Identify New suppliers, Manage and optimize the supplier portfolio to
\nsupport regional manufacturing needs. Implement dual-sourcing, localization, supplier consolidation,
\nand resourcing strategies to reduce risk, improve competitiveness, and ensure long-term supply
\ncontinuity and capacity.
\n Supplier Performance Management: Ensure suppliers meet targets on quality, delivery, cost,
\ncapacity, and compliance. Lead regular supplier reviews, manage corrective action plans, and drive
\ncontinuous improvement with strategic suppliers.
\n Grant business continuity through a resilient Supply chain: Through consolidation and
\ndiversification transform the supplier base to establish a resilient supply chain and open new
\nopportunities on technology and innovative solution
\n Negotiations: Engage in negotiations with suppliers to secure the best possible terms and
\nconditions, including pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, quality standards, and
\nservice levels. Aim to achieve cost savings with respect to the global suppliers.
\n Part Development: Overlook the part development timeline to meet part delivery targets.
\nOverlook the Tooling development, Validations etc. with the MEI Team/ Suppliers
\nContract Management: Develop and manage contracts and agreements with suppliers,
\nensuring that all terms and conditions are clearly defined, understood, and adhered to.
\n Market Intelligence and Benchmarking: Monitor market trends, raw material movements, supplier
\ncost structures, and technology developments. Provide insights to the Regional Head to support
\nstrategy updates and sourcing decisions.
\n Negotiate & Manage Regional Contracts: Secure and deploy contracts for regional commodities and
\nmultiregional contracts for non-Global commodities and build sound partnerships with key
\n Support to New Upcoming Projects: Support the NOD team during the new product
\nintroduction and overlook adherence of Sourcing Strategy in in new projects.
\n Compliance and Governance: Ensure all sourcing and procurement activities adhere to internal
\ncompany policies, ethical guidelines, and external regulatory requirements.
\nEducational Qualification: B. Tech / B.E

\nTechnical skills:
\nCosting, Negotiation, Drawing reading, Process knowledge for Fabrication / Casting & Forging / Plastic
