Base pay range Direct message the job poster from Gambit Search Role A leading national insolvency and advisory firm is seeking an experienced Assistant Manager to Manager to join its Birmingham office .

This is an exciting opportunity to progress your career within a highly regarded corporate insolvency practice, working on a varied portfolio of high-quality cases while contributing to a growing and ambitious team. The Role: You will take ownership of a portfolio of corporate insolvency assignments , including: Creditors’ Voluntary Liquidations (CVLs) – core focus Administrations Members’ Voluntary Liquidations (MVLs) – occasional Key Responsibilities: Leading insolvency cases from appointment to conclusion, ensuring statutory compliance and best practice Preparing reports, statutory documentation, and case notes for directors, creditors, and other stakeholders Managing communications and relationships with directors, creditors, shareholders, and third parties Supervising, mentoring, and developing junior team members to deliver high-quality outcomes Supporting continuous improvement within the insolvency team and broader practice About You: The ideal candidate will have: Solid experience in corporate insolvency Strong technical knowledge across corporate insolvency processes Proven people management experience , including mentoring and managing junior staff Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills, with the ability to manage multiple cases Confident and professional communication with directors, creditors, and stakeholders Strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail What’s on Offer: Competitive salary, reflective of experience Hybrid working: 3 days in the office / 2 days from home Clear career progression within a leading national insolvency practice Exposure to a broad range of corporate insolvency assignments, including complex cases Supportive, collaborative, and growth-focused team environment If this could be the next step in your corporate insolvency career , get in touch to find out more.
