Assistant Manager

Assistant Manager – Full Time We are looking to recruit a new Assistant Manager for our shop in Page Moss, Liverpool. The position is permanent full time, working 5 days per week from 7:xx each week, usually including at least one weekend shift. Flexibility throughout the week, including weekends, is required.

Hours & Pay Hours: 43 hours across 5 days per week. Pay: £31,449 – £32,648 per annum. Benefits 30 days holiday each year.

Develop your team of retail assistants through coaching, mentoring and feedback. Be accountable for the shop in the shop manager’s absence, ensuring customers are attended to, deliveries handled quickly and shop routines maintained safely, cleanly and tidily. Motivate and guide the team to control operational costs including shrinkage, waste and payroll.

Support recruitment and induction of new team members. Qualifications & Requirements Friendly, positive, hard‑working approach. People person who builds strong working relationships.

Trustworthy and reliable, able to be relied upon by the team and customers. Some experience as a manager, team leader or supervisor. Basic DBS check (England/Wales) or Disclosure Scotland check (Scotland) required before employment.
