Job Description
Key Responsibilities: Manage full project lifecycle, from concept development and site surveys to execution, vendor handover, and operations integration. Prepare Bill of Quantities (BOQ), negotiate rates with vendors while adhering to approved budgets, and conduct cost analyses. Coordinate with design teams to finalize Capex layout plans, incorporating site-specific requirements and compliance standards.
Liaise with site SPOCs (Single Points of Contact) during execution to resolve issues, facilitate logistics, and ensure timely resource availability. Oversee vendor management, including RFP processes, subcontractor supervision, quality checks, and invoice verification against deliverables. Monitor project progress with milestones, risk mitigation, cashflow projections, and reports to ensure on-time, on-budget completion.
Ensure HSE (Health, Safety, Environment) compliance, site readiness, and post-handover audits for smooth operations transition. Requirements: 3-5 years in project management, ideally in retail, F&B, or construction fit-outs (e.g., refrigeration/store setups relevant to Chai Point) Expertise in BOQ, rate negotiation, AutoCAD/site survey tools, and MS Project/Excel for planning and tracking Strong communication skills for multi-stakeholder coordination (vendors, designers, operations teams) in a fast-paced environment Familiarity with South India regulations, vendor ecosystems, and Capex budgeting in retail expansions Bachelorโs Degree in Engineering (Preferably Civil Engineering), Construction Management, or related field; PMP certification is a plus
