About the Role

We are looking for an Assistant Manager, Compliance who can independently manage accounting, taxation, and statutory compliance. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in GST, TDS, Income Tax, financial reporting, and finalization of accounts while ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, etc.).
• Handle TDS computation, payment, reconciliation, and return filing.
• Prepare and file Income Tax Returns (ITR) for companies, LLPs, firms, and individuals.
• Prepare financial statements, including Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss Account, Cash Flow Statement, and supporting schedules.
• Maintain books of accounts and ensure accurate accounting entries.
• Perform bank reconciliations, ledger scrutiny, and account reconciliations.
• Manage month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Ensure timely compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, PF, ESI, and other statutory requirements.
• Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities during audits and assessments.
• Prepare MIS reports, financial reports, and management reports.
• Keep updated with changes in taxation and accounting regulations.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and accounting principles.
• Experience in preparation and finalization of financial statements.
• Hands-on experience with Tally Prime, Zoho Books, or similar accounting software.
• Good working knowledge of MS Excel, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and financial reporting.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments while meeting deadlines.

Qualifications

• B.Com, M.Com, CA Inter, or an equivalent qualification.
• 4- 10 years of relevant experience in Accounting, Taxation, and Finance.
• Experience in a CA firm, consulting firm, or compliance-based organization will be preferred.
