Role Overview We’re looking for a passionate and driven Assistant Fashion Designer with 3–4 years of experience to join our creative team. The ideal candidate shares our design philosophy and has a strong eye for detail, illustration, and textile development. Key Responsibilities Assist in design development from concept to final product Create technical sketches, mood boards, and artwork for collections Collaborate with artisans and production teams on fabric sourcing and sampling Research trends, materials, and silhouettes aligned with the brand’s aesthetic Support fittings, quality checks, and production follow-ups Contribute original ideas that reflect Ikai’s ethos of bold, thoughtful design Requirements Degree in Fashion Design or related field 3–4 years of hands-on industry experience Strong illustration and sketching skills (manual and digital) Knowledge of Indian textiles, surface techniques, and sustainable practices Attention to detail and a flair for storytelling through design Team player with excellent communication and organizational skills Why Join Us At Ikai, you won’t just assist—you’ll co-create.
