Position Details Position Information Position Title Assistant/Associate Director of Examination Services, DCOM Department DCOM Assessment Position Category Staff Full Time Job Description The Assistant/Associate Director of Examination Services for the Lincoln Memorial University (LMU) DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine (DCOM) is responsible for preparing and maintaining examinations. Required Qualifications Bachelors degree. 1-2 years experience in examination services department. Preferred Qualifications Undergraduate coursework taken in statistics or higher-level math (or verifiable experience) Physical Demands Campus Orange Park Florida Job Duty Job Duty Communicate professionally and effectively with item writers (faculty) and request exam materials Job Duty Manage daily activities of the examination office and examination services staff in Orange Park Job Duty set-up and maintain policies and procedures for examination processes.
Job Duty Train new department hires and/or others across programs upon request Job Duty Manage the preparation and set-up of exam instruments according to the development cycles and schedules Job Duty Review and provide suggested changes to syllabi grading sections Job Duty Ensure the collection and entry of exam questions. Job Duty Ensure security, confidentiality, and quality control of all prepared exams Job Duty Organize and maintain all exam questions in a central database. Job Duty Ensure Canvas grading setup accuracy as compared to course syllabi Job Duty Review exam scores uploaded to Canvas gradebook Job Duty Ensure proper grading of exams using the scoring software Job Duty Create proctoring schedule and serve as proctor during in-seat exam days.
Job Duty Create schedule for and review proctoring videos for remote examinations. Job Duty Participate in continuing education for electronic testing Job Duty Provide data and analysis to the Dean and/or supervisor as requested Job Duty Provide data to Student Progress Committee and Student Services as needed Job Duty Provide electronic copies of final course grades and Change of Grade forms to Registrar Job Duty Organize and maintain electronic storage of Assessment data for Course Directors and Deans Job Duty Participate on university committees Job Duty Promote the mission of Lincoln Memorial University to all faculty, staff, students, and to the community at large Job Duty Promote effective working relationships among faculty, staff, and students. Job Duty Complete required institutional, program accreditation, and other reports necessary for the advancement of University programs, both on campus and at extended campus sites; Job Duty Perform other duties as assigned.
