Assistant Accountant

About the role

CMI Hinois seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Accountant to join our team.

Reporting to theFinancial Controller, thisfull-timerole provides accounting and administrative support to the finance team and Department Managers, ensuringaccuratefinancial reporting and the delivery of key management information to support business performance.

Whatyou’ll bedoing?

• Assistingwith the preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reports
• Supporting budgeting and forecasting processes
• Preparing reconciliations and analysing financial data
• Processing sales files and supporting debtor management activities
• Providing accounting support to operational departments
• Assistingwith process improvement initiatives across the finance function
• Supporting payroll and other finance-related duties asrequired

We are seeking someone who has

• An Accounting Degree (CPA accreditation preferred) or be working towards completion
• Strong communicationand organisational skills
• Sound computer skills and attention to detail
• Good commercial acumen and administrative capability
• A professional and collaborative approach
• Previousadministrative or accounting experience, preferably within the automotive or manufacturing industry
