Assistant Accountant

Our client is a well-established property development group in the local market. Seeking an assistant accountant to join the team. Based in Brisbane CBD. The role is a payroll focused role reporting to the Finance Manager.

For the right individual, this role offers a clear pathway to future progression within the business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Payroll (end to end) – 100 staff on a weekly basis, must have good current knowledge of entitlements, legislation, novated leases, super.
• Accounts Receivable
• Accounts Payable
• End of Month (Balance sheet reconciliations, prepayment, and accrual journals)

Experience & Attributes:

• Has the relevant payroll experience
• Willingness to learn
• Positively contribute to organizational culture
• Ability to work autonomously and in a team
• Employment Hero and Xero experience ideal
• High level of attention to detail
