Description

The Assistant Accountant will be responsible for, but not limited to:

• Assist with accounts receivable, payable & bank reconciliations
• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports.
• Assist with monthly and annual financial reconciliations.
• Inventory accounting, product costing
• Support the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
• Conduct variance analysis to aid decision-making.
• Process accounts payable and receivable transactions.
• Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
• Collaborate with internal teams to streamline financial processes.
• Provide support during audits and financial reviews.

Profile

A successful Assistant Accountant should have:

• A degree or qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience in financial reporting, reconciliations, and analysis.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Understanding of accounting standards and compliance requirements.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
