The company have a niche product range and an excellent reputation. The role will suit mechanical fitters looking for a truly varied role.

Candidates will need experience fitting / assembling bespoke equipment. You must be able to read and interpret engineering / technical drawings. The role will be fitting and assembling new, precision bespoke machines.

You’ll be reading engineering drawings and use appropriate hand tools to assemble. You need to be accurate and ensure high attention to detail to ensure the specification is met. This is a great chance to be part of a small, successful and long-standing company who supply their machines to a wide range of industries.

The Assembly Engineer Role: Mechanical fitting and assembly of machines in line with specifications, drawings and build procedures Read and follow engineering drawings Use of hand tools and power tools Working with rolling element bearings, shafts, plain bearings, liner bearings, ball screws, lead screws, pneumatic components, sensors, motors and gearboxes etc. Use of measuring equipment such as verniers, slip gauges, micrometres etc.
