Salary: - $37.50 hourly / 40 to 44 hours per week

Responsibilities

Tasks: - Supervise workers and projects - Co-ordinate and schedule activities - Train or arrange for training - Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies - Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers - Remove asbestos, ceramic fibres, lead and mould and urea-formaldehyde insulation materials from buildings - Resolve work problems, provide technical advice and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality

Supervision: - 1 to 2 people - 3-4 people

Security and safety: - Criminal record check

Job-site training and certification requirements: The successful applicant will be required to complete and/or maintain job-site safety training and certifications as required by the employer, clients, and applicable work sites. This may include, but is not limited to: o Intermediate First Aid certification; and o Validated Occupational Health and Safety Certificate for asbestos workers. These items are required for access to certain job sites and for compliance with health and safety requirements.
