AS400 Developer

Position Description: We are looking for an experienced AS Developer with strong expertise in RPG technologies to support development, production support, and system enhancements. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in IBM i (AS) environments and be capable of handling end-to-end development and support activities. #LI-AS26 Your future duties and responsibilities: • Develop, maintain, and enhance applications on AS (IBM i) platform • Write and modify programs using RPG / RPGLE • Develop and maintain CLLE programs • Provide production support and resolve incidents within defined SLAs • Perform impact analysis and implement system enhancements • Work closely with business and functional teams for requirement understanding • Participate in testing, deployment, and documentation activities Required qualifications to be successful in this role: Must-Have Skills: • 5 to 7 years of hands-on experience in AS / IBM i development • Strong knowledge of RPG & RPGLE • Good knowledge of CLLE • Experience in production support and application enhancements • Strong debugging and problem-solving skills • Good understanding of SDLC processes Good-to-Have Skills • Experience with ServiceNow • Exposure to DB2 on AS • Experience in handling batch jobs and job scheduling • Familiarity with change management processes • Ability to work in a support-oriented environment CGI is an equal opportunity employer.
