We're hiring: Solution Architect (AWS) — Remote, Brazil | US client

Paretho IT is looking for a senior Solution Architect to join a US client engagement, working from Brazil with overlap to US hours.

You'll own the architecture and technical direction of complex cloud and hybrid systems — translating business goals into scalable, secure, cost-effective designs, setting architectural standards and governance, and acting as the trusted technical advisor to engineering and leadership. Expect real ownership: from discovery and PoCs through design, implementation, and adoption.

What you'll do

→ Lead end-to-end architecture of applications, platforms, integrations, and infrastructure

→ Own multi-cloud/hybrid decisions: workload placement, migration strategy, FinOps

→ Define governance standards, ADRs, and manage technical risk and debt

→ Mentor engineers and run discovery sessions with business stakeholders

What we need

✅ AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional (active)

✅ 10+ years in software engineering, infra, or architecture — 5+ in a dedicated architect role

✅ Proven delivery of cloud-native or hybrid architectures at scale

✅ Strong grounding in distributed systems, security architecture, and cost governance

✅ Fluent English — you'll work directly with US stakeholders

Nice to have: AWS + Azure, Terraform/CloudFormation/SST, CI/CD, regulated industries (HIPAA, GDPR, SOC 2), Docker/Kubernetes/ECS, React/Next.js, AWS Lambda, PostgreSQL at scale.
