Job Description

Our client, a well-established and growing specialist provider of steam and process control solutions, is seeking an Area Sales Manager to drive growth across the North of England. This is a field-based role managing an established territory, developing existing accounts, and identifying new business opportunities across a wide range of industrial sectors. Youโ€™ll play a key role in delivering sustained growth while building strong, long-term customer relationships.

Manage and develop relationships with existing key accounts Identify and maximise upselling and cross-selling opportunities Generate and convert new business opportunities across the territory Develop and execute strategic territory sales plans Achieve and exceed agreed revenue and growth targets Monitor market trends and competitor activity Maintain accurate CRM records, forecasts, and pipeline reporting Provide weekly reports on customer visits and sales activity Collaborate closely with internal sales and technical support teams Represent the business professionally at all times Experience managing a sales territory. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills. Strong organisational and time-management abilities.

Self-motivated and target-driven approach. Full UK driving licence. Willingness to travel extensively throughout the territory.

Experience within steam systems, valves, process control, fluid handling, instrumentation, or related industries is advantageous. Technical sales experience within industrial markets. Knowledge of steam and process applications.
