Area Sales Manager We are Lennar, a Fortune 500 homebuilder dedicated to delivering quality homes and exceptional customer service. Job Overview The Area Sales Manager leads the sales team of an assigned area, driving performance, margin enhancement, and team development. The role manages staffing, training, and motivates teams to meet business objectives.

Responsibilities Lead and manage a high‑performing sales team, driving accountability and a results‑driven culture. Mentor and develop New Home Consultants, setting clear goals and providing consistent coaching. Foster a collaborative environment, promoting open communication and proactive issue resolution.

Conduct regular performance appraisals and identify development opportunities. Oversee all aspects of the sales department, adapting strategies to products, markets, and customer segments to maximize performance and penetration. Visit communities weekly to provide on‑site leadership, assess operations, and refine strategies to enhance sales performance.

Lead promotional events and community engagement initiatives to increase sales opportunities. Facilitate sales meetings, ensuring team alignment on goals and reinforcing corporate initiatives. Monitor mortgage statuses and manage closing processes, ensuring timely transactions.

Collaborate with the Director of Sales to resolve homeowner concerns and adjust market strategies. Qualifications Minimum 5+ years in residential sales, sales management, or real estate management. High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.

Strong experience working for a homebuilder in New Home Sales is strongly preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong organizational and interpersonal abilities. Ability to manage conflict and maintain professionalism in associate, public relations, and homeowner interactions.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant sales management software. Physical & Site Presence Requirements Regular in‑person attendance at company communities, job sites, and offices during regular work hours. Ability to work more than eight hours per day in confined quarters of a construction trailer.

Driving required; ability to read plans, climb stairs, lift and carry equipment up to 50 pounds. Occasional operation of construction equipment and use of a computer keyboard.
