We anticipate the application window for this opening will close on 13 Jun 2026. At Medtronic, we are seeking a committed professional to serve as a field-based ENT Area Sales Manager. This role requires residency within the territory and drives to multiple accounts; a valid driver's license is essential.
Responsibilities Conduct face‑to‑face sales calls with physicians, nurses and other key purchase influencers in the sales territory to demonstrate, in‑service and sell Medtronic Surgical Technologies capital and disposable products. Execute Sales Action Plans, utilizing own vehicles and transporting heavy inventory as needed. Plan, strategize and execute sales calls to all relevant hospital departments, outpatient surgery centers and doctors’ offices.
Work or attend meetings and courses inside and outside the territory. Provide support and service to clinical personnel in a surgical environment. Keep and maintain company‑owned property and inventory in good working condition.
Report competitive activity within the territory to the Region Manager and maintain all records and reports in a timely fashion. Perform other duties as assigned. Comply with the Medtronic Surgical Technologies Quality System.
Must Have: Minimum Requirements High School Diploma (or equivalent) and 8+ years of experience. Associate’s Degree and 6+ years of experience. Bachelor’s Degree and 4+ years of experience.
Relevant sales, clinical, or related experience in medical devices, medtech, healthcare, or life sciences. Nice to Have Successful medical sales record, preferably with ENT products. Knowledge of ENT assigned product/therapy customer base.
Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills. Preference given to local qualified candidates and candidates with Medtronic experience. Additional Job Requirements Regularly independent mobility.
Interaction with a computer for extended periods of time and communication with peers and co‑workers. Regular requirement to talk or hear. Frequently required to sit, reach with hands and arms, stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel.
Must frequently lift and/or move up to 20 pounds. Specific vision abilities including ability to adjust focus. Position based out of the Representative’s residence; minimal physical effort required but must carry products.
Approximately 50% overnight travel required via driving; air travel when required. Maintain and transport demonstration equipment to customers’ premises; 30% physical handling of equipment is integral. PR): $65,000.00 - $65,000.00. Eligible for Sales Incentive Plan (SIP).
