Area Sales Manager - ABAC Air Compressors

Overview

In this role you drive growth of the ABAC air compressor range through a distributor network, building strong customer relationships and steering regional sales activity. You will manage and motivate distributors, plan and prioritise activities, and monitor market dynamics to close gaps. You work cross-functionally to promote product value, use CRM tools, and support customer satisfaction.

• Build and nurture relationships with customers and distributors
• Manage and motivate a network of distributors in your territory
• Plan and prioritise sales activities and follow up leads in the CRM
• Promote product features and value-based selling
• Monitor channel coverage, pricing, and competitor activity
• Utilise CRM tools (C4C SAP) and maintain quotes and appointments
• Contribute to customer satisfaction/NPS and attend sales meetings
• Undertake ad-hoc project work as required

• Proven sales experience, ideally in capital equipment or technical products
• Experience working with or managing distributor networks
• Strong IT and CRM skills; comfortable with new systems
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organisational and time-management skills; proactive planning
• Full UK driving licence; field-based role with travel and occasional overnight stays
• Ability to work autonomously and stay within geographical area; occasional UK/Europe travel
