About the Role

We are looking for a highly organized and execution-focused Area Operations Executive to support our offline retail operations.

This role will serve as the single point of contact between Buyers, Area Incharges, Store Managers, Planning, Warehouse and Head Office teams to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

Your success will depend on your ability to communicate effectively, coordinate across departments, resolve operational issues quickly and ensure stores never suffer due to delays in stock, dispatches or communication.

Key Responsibilities

Store Coordination

Act as the primary point of contact for assigned Area Incharges and Store Managers.

Ensure smooth communication between stores and Head Office.

Follow up on store requirements until complete closure.

Resolve day-to-day operational queries or escalate them proactively.

Buyer & Merchandise Coordination

Coordinate closely with Buyers regarding store requirements.

Ensure timely communication on product availability, replenishment and launches.

Track pending requirements and ensure follow-through.

Warehouse & Dispatch Coordination

Coordinate with the Warehouse team for timely dispatches.

Track pending dispatches and stock transfers.

Resolve dispatch-related issues with stores and warehouse.

Ensure stores receive approved stock within timelines.

Store Performance Support

Monitor daily store sales and business performance.

Identify underperforming stores and support Area Incharges with action plans.

Escalate operational issues impacting sales.

Inventory & Replenishment

Coordinate replenishment requests with Planning.

Track stock availability across stores.

Minimize lost sales due to stock shortages.

Reporting & MIS

Maintain daily, weekly and monthly operational trackers.

Prepare reports on sales, dispatches, replenishment and store issues.

Ensure complete accuracy of operational MIS.

Skills We're Looking For

Excellent coordination and follow-up skills.

Strong communication and stakeholder management.

Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

High ownership and accountability.

Strong problem-solving mindset.

Advanced Excel proficiency.

Comfortable working with multiple teams across Retail, Warehouse, Planning and Buying.

Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

Preferred Experience

2–4 years in Retail Operations, Store Operations, Merchandising Coordination or Supply Chain Coordination.

Experience in Fashion, Apparel, Lifestyle or Retail brands preferred.

Experience coordinating with Warehouses, Buyers or Store Teams will be an added advantage.

Success in This Role

Within the first 6 months, you should be able to:

Become the trusted SPOC for Area Incharges and Buyers.

Ensure timely dispatches and replenishment across assigned stores.

Improve communication between stores and Head Office.

Maintain accurate operational MIS with minimal errors.

Resolve store issues quickly while ensuring business continuity.
