Architectural Designer

COMPANY PROFILE Lessard Design is an international architecture and planning firm committed to creating environments that inspire connection, collaboration, community, and commerce. Located in metropolitan Washington, DC, and India. GENERAL DESCRIPTION Reporting to the Project Manager of each group, will be required to follow schedules and complete Design / Drawing work in collaboration with Project Manager.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Assist Project Manager in setting and meeting quality of design and technical standards. Maintain Sketch up/ Photoshop/ Revit efficiency. Assist in coordination of the deliverables of the Working Drawings Ensure all deadlines are met as specified by the project manager; and if necessary, give adequate notice if issues are unresolved.

Other duties may be assigned by LALP. QUALITIES Good judgment and reasoning ability, enabling problem solving with the constant shifting of priorities and daily tasks. Self-motivated personality to take on projects and assignments.

Ability to manage time, deadline oriented, and takes initiative (self-starter). Keen observation and detail-orientation skills Strong organizational skills and disciplined accuracy are required. Able to work effectively in a team environment and on their own.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Bachelor’s Degree (B. Arch) Minimum 5 years of relevant experience Excellent proficiency over Photoshop, Sketch up, AutoCAD required. Proficiency in MS Office is required, particularly Excel is a must.
