AR Jr Accountant

We're looking for a detail-oriented Junior Accountant to support day-to-day accounting operations. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their accounting career to build hands-on experience across bookkeeping, reconciliations, and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
• Perform monthly bank and account reconciliations
• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
• Maintain and update the general ledger
• Prepare journal entries and supporting documentation
• Assist in preparing financial statements and reports
• Support budget preparation and variance analysis
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies and regulatory requirements
• Assist with tax filings and audits as needed
• Maintain organized financial records and documentation

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 0–2 years of accounting experience (internships welcome)
• Working knowledge of GAAP (or relevant accounting standards)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with accounting software (e.g.,QuickBooks, SAP, NetSuite) a plus
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
